Kaelyn Long, Clara McCormick Voted to Academic All-Patriot League Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell field hockey team placed two players on the Academic All-Patriot League Team, as announced by the league office on Thursday. Senior Kaelyn Long makes her second appearance on the list, and sophomore Clara McCormick earns the honor in her first year of eligibility.
Bucknell has had multiple players make the Academic All-League Team since its formation in 2010.
The academic recognition is Long's second postseason honor after the Hanover, Pa. native was voted to the All-Patriot League First Team on Tuesday. Long achieved a 3.92 cumulative GPA as an early childhood education major. She was named to the Academic All-League team in 2019 as well and is a three-time member of both the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and the NFHCA Division I All-Academic Squad. The senior has started five games this season and has four points on a goal and two assists.
McCormick boasts a 3.89 GPA as an English and creative writing major and was a member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll last season. The sophomore was also recognized twice during the regular season as the Goalkeeper of the Week. McCormick made four starts this season and totaled 25 saves with one shutout.
American junior Aidan Rossman was voted the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and Boston U. placed a league-high three players on the All-Academic list.
