Bucknell Women at a Glance
• The Bison finished their regular season with a 3-0 (3-0 PL) record with their 188-112 victory over Loyola (Md.) on April 10. They won 11 individual events and one relay, with Maddie Hartigan outracing the field in three races and Alexis Faria, Kate Gottwald and Maggie Wyngowski taking first in two events apiece.
• For their efforts, Hartigan was named the Patriot League Swimmer of the Week while Gottwald was tabbed as the Patriot League Diver of the Week for the second time this season. Notably, Gottwald has swept the boards at three-straight meets.
• Dating back to the 2018-19 campaign, Bucknell has posted an incredible 21-2 (16-2 PL) record in dual meets; both of the Bison's losses came to reigning Patriot League champion Navy.
• Bucknell wrapped up its 2019-20 dual meet schedule with a sterling 10-1 (7-1 PL) record. With their rivalry win over Lehigh, the Bison reached the double digits in victories during a single season for the sixth time in program history. They previously accomplished the feat in 1980-81 (11-2), 1984-85 (10-4), 1993-94 (10-1), 1994-95 (10-1) and 1997-1998 (11-2).
• Bucknell placed second at the 2020 Patriot League Championships with 533 points. The Bison, who finished as the Patriot League runners-up for the 12th time in program history and the first time since 2015, were bolstered by eight-medal winning performances, including a golden showing by Wyngowski in the 400 IM behind an NCAA 'B' cut time.
• Seven Bison were honored on the 2020 All-Patriot League Team: Hartigan (1st), Wyngowski (1st), Catherine Craig (2nd), Emily Gorham (2nd), Emma Hadley (2nd), Abby Merriman (2nd) and Sabrina Vumbacco (2nd). Vumbacco was also named the Rookie of the Patriot League Championship meet.
• Bucknell's total of All-Patriot League selections was its highest since 2015, when nine Bison made the All-Patriot League squad.
• Of Bucknell's 2020 All-Patriot League honorees, Hadley and Merriman were lost to graduation.
• Hartigan and Wyngowski are the team's returning school record holders. Hartigan owns the standards in the 200 freestyle (1:48.22) and the 500 freestyle (4:46.48) while Wyngowski is listed first in the 200 breaststroke (2:14.54), the 200 IM (2:00.15) and the 400 IM (4:15.26).
• Gorham (200 freestyle), Hartigan (800 freestyle) and Wyngowski (200 medley) swam on relay teams that set school records.
Bucknell Men at a Glance
• Bucknell finished its regular season with a 1-2 (1-2 PL) record following its 203-97 loss to Loyola (Md.) on April 10. Will Cadwallader was a standout performer for Bucknell, winning the 3-meter dive with a program top-10 mark and taking second on the 1-meter board.
• The Bison placed fourth at the 2020 Patriot League Championships with 342.5 points. A highlight of the meet for the Bison was a bronze-medal performance by the 400 freestyle relay team of Matt McGoey, Matt Mills, Jack Rose and Leo Kuyl.
• Bucknell wrapped up its 2019-20 dual meet season with a 5-6 (4-4 PL) record.
• The Bison's 5-2 start was its best since the 2013-14 campaign. That season, they went 5-1 (4-0 PL) in their first six duals en route to a 7-3 (5-1 PL) record.
• Bucknell returned 2020 Academic All-Patriot League pick Garrett Sommer, a diver who has scored 68 career points at the Patriot League Championships.
• Returnees Kuyl (400 freestyle), Jacob Lubinski (400 medley), Mills (400 freestyle) and Rose (200 medley, 400 freestyle) swam on relay teams that set school records.
• The Bison lost McGoey to graduation. A two-time All-Patriot League pick, he won one Patriot League medal and set the school record in the 200 IM (1:47.84).

American Women at a Glance
• American finished the regular season with an 0-3 (0-3 PL) record. The Eagles most recently placed sixth at the April Pools Invite on April 2-3.
• American took eighth at the 2020 Patriot League Championships with 135 points.
• Bucknell holds a 15-1 lead in the all-time series against American and has won the past 14 meetings dating back to 2003.
• During the 2019-20 campaign, the Bison downed the Eagles, 238-51, as part of a quad-meet.
American Men at a Glance
• American wrapped up the regular season with a 1-2 (1-2 PL) record. The Eagles most recently took fifth at the April Pools Invite on April 2-3.
• American placed eighth at the 2020 Patriot League Championships with 127 points.
• Bucknell holds a 13-2 lead in the all-time series against American and has won the past 13 meetings dating back to 2008.
• During the 2019-20 season, the Bison dropped the Eagles, 215-67, as part of a quad-meet.
Loyola Women at a Glance
• Loyola most recently fell to Bucknell, 188-112, on April 10.
• At the 2020 Patriot League Championships, the Greyhounds finished sixth with 302 points.
• Bucknell leads the all-time series with Loyola, 4-0. The teams first squared off in 2017.
• During the 2019-20 campaign, the Bison dispatched the Greyhounds, 171-129, behind 10 individual victories.
Loyola Men at a Glance
• Loyola most recently topped Bucknell, 203-97, on April 10.
• At the 2020 Patriot League Championships, the Greyhounds placed third with 391 points. It was their best finish at a conference meet since joining the Patriot League ahead of the 2013-14 campaign.
• Loyola leads the all-time series with Bucknell, 3-1. The teams met for the first time in 2017.
• During the 2019-20 campaign, the Greyhounds downed the Bison, 187-108. Will Cadwallader was a standout performer for Bucknell, winning both boards.
