Men's Track and Field Heads to Lehigh on Saturday

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell University men's track and field team will participate in the Happy Easter Races on Saturday at Lehigh.
The meet will be the third for the Bison this season, and the first of two scheduled meets that the Bison will take part in in Bethlehem this season.

- The Bison had a solid performance in its first home meet since 2019 on Sunday when it hosted UMBC and Saint Francis (Pa.).
- Nicholas Marino continued his strong start to the season in taking first in the pole vault (16-0.75), while Jordan Montero earned his second straight win in the javelin (198-09). James Kelly finished second (187-03) for a personal record for the senior.
- Also in the throws, Anthony Zamarra moved up in the Bucknell top ten rankings for the second straight week in the shot put (52-10.25).
- Bucknell earned the team win at the meet, edging out the Red Flash 159.5-138.5.
- Brendan Bodisch continued to come close to his personal best time in the 400 hurdles (54.82), while Samuel Whittaker earned an impressive victory in the 5000 (14:38.03).
- The Bison last competed at Lehigh indoors as a part of the 2020 Patriot League Indoor Championships. '
- Bucknell will host Army and Lehigh on Sunday, April 11 in Lewisburg .
