Men's Tennis Concludes Regular Season with Home Match vs. Lehigh

About the Bison
• Bucknell plays its last scheduled regular season match against Lehigh on Saturday.
• The Bison improved to 2-1 in league play with a decisive 6-1 victory over Loyola (Md.) on Sunday. Bucknell swept the doubles matches and won five of six in singles. Before that, Bucknell fell 7-0 to Navy on Saturday.
• Nick Mueller improved to 6-2 in singles play on Sunday and now leads the team in victories, earning four of his wins on court three. The sophomore also leads the team in doubles wins at 5-3.
• Right behind Mueller in singles wins is fellow sophomore Michael Owen at 4-4. Owen has two wins at No. 1 singles and picked up his second No. 2 singles win on Sunday.
• Marwan Abaza, Cooper Bradshaw, Sam Yildirimlar and Tim Zelikovsky all have two singles wins this spring.
• The Bison found success with all new doubles tandems on Sunday. Bradshaw and Abaza played just their doubles match together and won 6-1 in the No. 1 spot. It was Bucknell's first No. 1 doubles victory since March 20. Mueller and Zelikovsky won on court two, and Owen and Guillermo Torres are 1-0 after a win at No. 3 doubles.
• Abaza was named the Patriot League Men's Player of the Week on Wednesday. It's the third time he's earned the honor during his Bucknell career.
Scouting the Mountain Hawks/Series History
• Lehigh has jumped out to 3-2 record and is 2-2 against the Patriot League. The Mountain Hawks have wins over Loyola (Md.) and Colgate.
• Lehigh junior Zack Elliot has played all five matches at No. 1 singles and is 3-2. Elliot has also played every match at No. 1 doubles alongside fellow senior Harry Wang. The duo is 4-1 this spring.
• Bucknell fell 4-2 in the last meeting with Lehigh back on April 14, 2019. Bucknell's last win over the Mountain Hawks was in the first round of the Patriot League Championships in 2017.

• Bucknell has no other regular season matches on the schedule. The 2021 Patriot League Championships are scheduled to begin on April 22.
