McMenamin Named to Patriot League All-Academic Team

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Connor McMenamin of the Bucknell men's cross country team has been named on the Academic All-League team, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
McMenamin, a senior from Souderton, Pa., has now earned a spot on an Academic All-League Team for the second time, after earning a spot on the team in outdoor track and field in 2019.
McMenamin earned his first All-Patriot League distinction in cross country this season in finishing fifth overall at the 2021 Spring Championships, and the Bison have now had a representative on the Academic All-Patriot League Team for each year since the fall of 2013. The fifth-place finish by McMenamin marks an incredible improvement from his 67th-place showing in 2019, and 15 spots better than his previous highest finish of 20th at the 2017 Patriot League Championships.
McMenamin has also earned Second Team All-Patriot League accolades in both 2018 and 2019 in the steeplechase, and holds a 3.90 cumulative GPA as an economics major.
