Bucknell at a Glance
• The Bison are currently 3-1 (0-0 EIWA) on the season following their 23-10 loss to Michigan State on Dec. 3.Â
• Last season, Bucknell placed a wrestler on the EIWA podium at all 10 weight classes and qualified two for the NCAA Championships.
• The Bison returned two-time All-American Zach Hartman, who is also the defending EIWA champion at 165 pounds.
• Hartman's sixth-place showing at the 2021 NCAA Championships was the third-highest finish by a Bison. He also became Bucknell's second NCAA semifinalist.
• Hartman is the Bison's fourth EIWA champion. He also twice finished as the EIWA runner-up; in 2019, he became the first Bucknell freshman to take second at the EIWA's premier event.

A Look Back at the Michigan State Dual
• Bucknell most recently fell to Michigan State, 23-10, on Dec. 3 in Davis Gym.
• The Spartans handed the Bison their first loss of the 2021-22 campaign by winning seven of 10 bouts. Overall, all but three were decided by decision, with those coming by major decision.
• Kolby DePron (149) knocked off No. 33 Peyton Omania, a 2021 NCAA qualifier and two-time U23 Greco-Roman National Champion, by a 16-12 decision. The standout freshman moved to 13-3 with his victory over Omania, who also represented Team USA at the 2021 World Greco-Roman Championships.
• Jaden Fisher (174) posted a commanding 13-4 major decision over Nathan Jimenez.

• Bucknell welcomed back a number of alumni and recognized Bucknell Athletics Hall of Famers Tom Scotton '78, Bobby Ferraro '94, Andy Rendos '10 and assistant coach Kevin LeValley '11.
