Patrick O’Hara Named to Academic All-Patriot League Men’s Soccer Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell senior co-captain Patrick O'Hara was one of 11 student-athletes named to the Academic All-Patriot League Men's Soccer Team on Tuesday. O'Hara, a starting midfielder with a 3.97 cumulative grade-point average in biology, earned a spot on the squad for the third year in a row.
O'Hara is also a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, and he has been named to the Bucknell Dean's List every semester throughout his career. He has worked as a peer tutor in biology and chemistry, and he has served on the community service and social justice committees within the Bucknell Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
On the field, O'Hara tallied a goal and three assists for the Bison this season, with the goal coming in a league match against Army. O'Hara logged seven goals and five assists in his Bucknell career.
Army goalkeeper Jacob Suppiah was named the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year. O'Hara was joined on the Academic All-League Team by Suppiah and Luke Doyle of Army; American's Jack Green; Colgate's Max Edelstein; Lafayette's Sebastian Varela; Lehigh's Euan Forrest; Loyola's Jacob Denison, Kelan Swales and Chase Vosvick; and Navy's Matt Nocita.
