LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell sophomore Jordan Miller earned Third Team All-Patriot League honors on Friday. Miller made a successful conversion from center back to striker this season, and he finished as Bucknell's team leader with six goals.
Miller was piping hot during the month of September. In one stretch he totaled five goals in a span of four games, highlighted by a brace in a 2-1 win at Mount St. Mary's in which he scored the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute.
Miller flashed more dramatics on Sept. 29 at Lehigh, when he scored in overtime to give the Bison a 1-0 conference win.
A native of Kingston, Jamaica, Miller led the Patriot League in scoring for much of the season, and he now ranks fourth with those six goals.
Navy claimed the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year in Jacob Williams and the Defensive Player of the Year in Matt Nocita. Regular-season champion Loyola picked up three major awards in Midfielder of the Year Justin Ingram, Goalkeeper of the Year Chase Vosvick and Coach of the Year Steve Nichols. Holy Cross forward Evan Jones was selected as the Rookie of the Year.
A young Bison squad wrapped up its 2021 season earlier this week with a 4-10-3 record.
