Live Results
Sunday's race is set for a noon start.
- Samuel Whittaker returns as Bucknell's top finisher from last year's league meet, where the junior from Salem, Conn. earned All-League accolades for the first time in his career in his only race of the spring season. Whittaker finished 13th overall at the meet, and has continued to perform well during the fall, earning top-20 finishes at the Father Bede Invite and the Bison Open, and also placing in the top 100 at the Paul Short Run.
- The 13th-place finish at the Patriot League Championships marked an improvement of 64 places from his 77th-place finish as a first-year. Whittaker finished 238th at the highly-competitive Pre-National Meet on October 15, and will look to carry that momentum into his third Patriot League Championship meet.
- Owen Chase was Bucknell's next scoring runner in the spring, finishing 26th overall in a solid performance in his first-ever Patriot League Championship. Chase has picked up two top-ten finishes this year at the Father Bede Invite (2nd) and the Bison Open (6th), and will look to be in the mix as well on Sunday.
- Several other Bucknell runners return with championship experience, as Brendan Mellitt (32nd), Matt Cervon (34th), Brendan O'Toole (38th), and Greg Eisenhower (43rd) all competed in the spring.
- Several other Bison will figure to be in the mix for the Patriot League lineup, including Michael Donnelly, who has had an impressive sophomore season. The Havertown, Pa. native did not compete in the spring, but won his collegiate debut at the Bison Open on September 4, and also placed in the top five at the Father Bede Invite. Donnelly also posted the best individual performance for the Bison at Pre-Nationals, finishing 194th in a challenging field.
- Noah Martin earned the individual title at the Leopard Invite on October 16 in a Bucknell team victory, while Domenic Campagna also turned in a solid performance in finishing second overall. Ben Santos and Grayson Crockett each earned top-five finishes in a showcase of depth for the Bison men over the weekend.
- Bucknell finished fourth as a team in the spring, losing its top two runners from that meet in Connor McMenamin and Evan Minor.
- After the Patriot League Championships, the Bison will return to Bethlehem for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Meet set for Friday, November 12.
