Memorable Women’s Basketball Comeback vs. Lehigh to be Featured on PLN Classic Games

LEWISBURG, Pa. - One of Bucknell women's basketball's most memorable games, the 2016 comeback victory over Lehigh in Sojka Pavilion, will be among the first classics aired on The Patriot League Classic Games series, which will be introduced on Wednesday, March 25 at noon via the Patriot League Network's official YouTube page.
On Jan. 13, 2016, the Bison erased a 17-point fourth quarter deficit to force overtime with the visiting Mountain Hawks. Kaitlyn Slagus '19, a freshman at the time, hit the game-tying 3-pointer with two seconds left in regulation to force the extra period, and Kyi English '19 connected on a game-winning three to give the Bison the 80-77 win and a 5-0 start to league play.
The game saw five lead changes, and a combined nine players scored in double figures. The Bison went on to finish the 2015-16 season 17-1 in Patriot League play and collect a first-round win over Akron in the WNIT.
