Abby Kapp Voted to Academic All-Patriot League Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell women's basketball junior Abby Kapp was selected to the Academic All-Patriot League Team for the first time in her career, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Kapp, who was also named to the All-Patriot League Second Team last week, sports a 3.85 cumulative GPA as an economics major. The junior is also a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. She was joined on the All-Academic list by American's Kaitlyn Marenyi, Lehigh's Camryn Buhr, Lehigh's Hannah Hedstrom, and Loyola (Md.)'s Delaney Connolly. Connolly was also voted the Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Kapp led the Patriot League in 3-point field goals this season and is currently one away from tying the program's all-time single season record. She's averaged 10.9 points per game this season and leads the Bison with 23 blocks.
Kapp and the Bison advanced passed the Patriot League Quarterfinal round on Monday night and will host Holy Cross at Sojka Pavilion for the Semifinal round on Thursday, March 12 at 6 p.m.
