Swim & Dive Competes at Navy Long Course Qualifier

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Two long-course school records fell on Thursday at the Navy Long Course Qualifier at Lejeune Hall.

On the day she was announced as 2020 All-Patriot League First Team performers, Maddie Hartigan set a new long-course school standard. Hartigan broke Kelly Pontecorvo's 2013 record by timing in at 4:24.74 in the 400-meter freestyle.

In addition, Alexis Faria bested a record set in 2014 by Amber McDonnell by clocking in at 1:03.68 in the 100-meter butterfly.

The full Bison teams return to action tomorrow by beginning competition at the ECAC Championships, also at Lejeune Hall.
