Wrestling Wraps Up Dual Schedule at Columbia

Bucknell at a Glance
• Bucknell is 9-6 (8-3 EIWA) in 2019-20 dual action, most recently falling to No. 11 Lehigh (6-32) and No. 18 Army West Point (7-29) last weekend in their final home duals.
• Bucknell's 8-1 start to EIWA action was its best since 2016-17; that season, the Bison went 9-1 against EIWA opponents, with their lone loss coming to No. 12 Lehigh in their EIWA opener.
• A year ago, Bucknell went 7-11 (4-7 EIWA) during dual competition. The Bison also placed 13th at the EIWA Championships in March and tied for 14th in a 67-team field at the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships in late December.

• Wirnsberger and Bob Ferraro, who led the Bison to a 169-175-6 record from 1974 to 1997, are the program's only head coaches to reach the 100-win plateau.

Inside the Bison Projected Lineup
• The Bison have two NCAA qualifiers in their projected starting lineup: Zach Hartman and Drew Phipps. In addition, Hartman, Phipps and David Campbell are EIWA placewinners.
• Phipps has started Bucknell's past 48 duals dating back to the 2017-18 campaign. He started every dual a season ago and all but the Lehigh dual in 2017-18.
• Phipps needs seven victories to become the 11th Bison to reach the century mark in his career.
• Phipps had a 16-bout winning streak in dual competition snapped on Jan. 10 at Navy; entering that night, he was last defeated in dual action on Jan. 5, 2018 at Navy.
• Hartman, who started every 2018-19 dual at 157 pounds, has moved up a weight class this season. He is currently 12-1 in dual competition, including an 8-1 mark against EIWA opponents; he suffered his first dual defeat of the season during Bucknell's dual against Army West Point on Feb. 16.
• Hartman won his 50th career bout with his 20-3 technical fall over American's Tim Fitzpatrick on Feb. 9.
• Phipps (13-2), Hartman (12-1) and Darren Miller (10-5) have reached the double digits in dual victories; Matthew Kolonia (9-5) could join them with a victory at Columbia.
• Six Bison earned their first dual start this season: Brandon Seidman (125), Miller (133), Chris Lanciano (141), Jacob Hubbard (149), Jaden Fisher (157) and Vincent Andreano (165). Hubbard is a junior, Seidman a sophomore and Miller, Lanciano, Fisher and Andreano are freshmen.
