• Each player at the tournament will see three singles matches and play five sets of doubles.
• Last weekend, the Bison picked up eight singles wins and three doubles victories competing against Penn, Wagner, and Temple at the Temple Invite.
• Owen was impressive throughout the weekend at Temple. The freshman picked up singles wins against Penn and Wagner, and was part of a doubles victory playing alongside Ryan Jurist.
• Carvalho picked up a singles win last weekend as well, defeating his Wagner opponent 6-2, 7-5 on the second day of the tournament. Carvalho also earned a doubles victory by default.
Scouting the Opponents
• Binghamton will see its first fall competition this weekend after posting an 8-15 overall record last season. However, the Bearcats are without 2019 Mid-American All-Conference selection Ludovico Cestarollo, who graduated in the spring.
• Army has also yet to compete this fall. Army, who finished 15-14, defeated Bucknell 4-0 back in March. The Black Knights return two 2019 All-Patriot League selections in Myles Conlin and Diego Huttepain.
• NJIT begins its fall campaign this weekend following a 4-15 spring season. Eight of the 12 players on NJIT's roster are freshmen seeing their first collegiate tennis action this season.
• St. Thomas Aquinas put together a 14-6 campaign in the spring, finishing second in the East Coast Conference with a 4-1 record.
• Buffalo has won four doubles matches in two weeks of fall tournaments this season. The team went 11-9 last spring and reached the Mid-American Conference Tournament semifinals.
Bucknell has a week off from competition before heading down to Richmond, Va. for the Richmond Invitational Oct. 11-13.
