About Boston U/Series History
• The Terriers are off to a .500 start after falling to a pair of ranked opponents in September. After beginning the season 3-1, the Terriers suffered single-goal losses to No. 24 Maine and Columbia over the weekend. The Columbia match saw two goals in the final 10 minutes of regulation before the Lions scored a game-winner four minutes into the extra period.
• The Terriers' leading goal-scorer is junior Ailsa Connolly, who totals five after posting a hat trick in the team's opener vs. Ohio. Four other Terriers have registered multiple goals on the season.
• Boston U has started freshman Caroline Kelly at goalkeeper in all six matches. The Malvern, Pa. product has 32 saves and a 2.53 goals against average. Kelly was the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week selection after recording 27 saves in a 1-1 week for the Terriers. Â
• The Terriers were picked as favorites to win the Patriot League Championship in the PL Preseason Poll this season. It's the fourth time in five years they've been picked in the top spot.
• Boston U culminated a 12-8 season last year with its fourth Patriot League title in the last five years. The Terriers defeated American 2-1 in the title game to go 6-0 in league play.
• The Bison are 1-11 in all-time meetings with the Terriers, picking up a 5-2 win back in 2014. Last season, Bucknell took the Terriers to double-overtime before eventually falling 3-2. It was the second time the two teams have gone to double-overtime in the past four years.
