The Bucknell women's rowing team returns to the Cooper River for the Cooper Invitational this Sunday in Cherry Hill, N.J. Two weeks ago, two Bison crews had strong performances on the same course at the Cooper Sprints, highlighted by the 2V8+ qualifying for the Grand Final

This week, Bucknell will have four boats entered: 1V8+, 2V8+ A and B, and a Freshman 8+. Strong competition awaits, with Canisius, Dayton, Delaware, Duquesne, Eastern Michigan, Fairfield, Fordham, George Mason, Loyola, Marist, Robert Morris, Sacred Heart and Villanova joining the Bison.

Bucknell's lead Varsity Eight goes off in the very first heat at 8 a.m., along with Sacred Heart, Dayton, Villanova and Loyola. The 2V8+ entries will row in heats at 8:40 and 8:50, respectively.

In the 1V8+, each heat winner and the next three fastest times qualify for the Grand Final. The next six fastest times go to the Petite Final. The 2V8+ will have a Grand Final, a Petite Final and a Third Level Final.

Bucknell's Freshman 8+ goes straight into a final, where it will row against Delaware, Villanova and Fordham.
