Paige Furano Earns CWPA Co-Offensive Player of the Week Award

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Freshman attacker Paige Furano has been named the CWPA Co-Offensive Player of the Week and Co-Rookie of the Week after helping the Bison to a 2-1 weekend at George Washington.

Bucknell defeated George Washington and Saint Francis (PA) before dropping a back-and-forth contest to No. 14 Harvard.

Furano scored seven times in the loss to Harvard, tying the Bucknell single-game record. She combined for ten goals and 11 assists in the three games, and posted season-high numbers in goals (7) and assists (5) in two different games.

Bucknell is now 19-9 this year and is on the cusp of its first 20-win season since 2008 where Bucknell went 25-8 overall.

The Bison will play three CWPA matches this weekend against Brown, Harvard, and George Washington in Cambridge, Mass.
