Bison Notes
- The team posted a strong performance on Saturday at the Penn Challenge, finishing fourth on 68 points in the first outdoor meet of the season for the Orange and Blue. Patriot League rival Army won the meet, followed by Penn (163), Rider (83) and the Bison. Villanova (65), Georgetown (62), Columbia (60), La Salle (23), George Washington (10), and Lehigh (5) rounded out the field.
- The Bison were led by Reggie Harris, who returned to his hometown of Philadelphia and posted a personal-best leap of 48-9 in the triple jump that moved him up to fifth on Bucknell's all-time list. Harris finished first in the event for Bucknell's only win of the day and qualified for IC4As in the process.
- Billy Melchionni picked up a second place finish in the 400, running an IC4A-qualifying time of 48.55.
- Jordan Montero and Jake Stupak each earned third place finishes, both IC4A standards.
- Montero tossed a 197-3 in the javelin, while Stupak ran a time of 1:53.89 in the 800 in his first time competing in the event. Stupak's time was just .03 off of the first place time of 1:53.86 set by Army's Anthony Boswell.
- The Bison placed three in the top ten of the 400 hurdles, with Matthew Barton (4th) Brendan Bodisch (5th), and Jack Memoli (8th) each registering points in the event. Memoli was also sixth in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.81.
- This will be Bucknell's first time attending the Raleigh Relays since the 2015-16 campaign.
- The Bison won eight events in last year's Jim Taylor Invitational, with Harris (triple jump), Bodisch (long jump), Nicholas Marino (pole vault), Montero (javelin), Terryl Ferrell (3,000m steeplechase), James Weissenborn (5,000), and Jeff Brown (100) all earning individual titles.
