Women's Tennis to Host Niagara and Saint Joseph's at Central PA Tennis Center

About the Bison
• Bucknell looks to start 3-0 for the second straight year when it hosts Niagara on Saturday and Saint Joseph's on Sunday. Both matches will be played at the Central PA Tennis Center.
• The Bison recently announced a partnership with the Central PA Tennis Center, formerly the West Branch Tennis Club, as an indoor facility for practices and competitions, including a backup site for the Patriot League Championships.
• Saturday's match will be Fan Appreciation Day, which will include free pizza while supplies last and prizes.
• Bucknell is coming off wins over St. Bonaventure and Siena last weekend. Both matches were played in Loudonville, New York.
• Cayla Koch was selected as the Patriot League Player of the Week after winning her singles matches against the Bonnies and Saints. Both matches were played on court two.
• Mishi Papich and Sofia Ayuso also went 2-0 in singles last weekend.
Scouting the Opponents
• Niagara is 1-3 after a 4-3 win over Colgate. The Purple Eagles have losses to Carnegie Mellon (6-1), Akron (6-1) and Buffalo (7-0). Olga Donchu is 3-3 in duals while playing on courts three, four, and five.
• Saint Joseph's is 0-1 with a 6-1 loss at Navy. Amanda Nava won on court one for the Hawks.
Series History with the Opponents
• Bucknell is 7-2 in the all-time series with Niagara, including wins in each of the past three seasons. Paige Leavy and Mishi Papich are 2-0 in those matches, while Danielle Gannon is 1-0.
• The Bison are 8-1 all-time against Saint Joseph's, including a 5-2 win last season. Leavy, Cayla Koch, and Sofia Ayuso all had victories in that match.
