LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's and women's basketball teams are both assured of hosting quarterfinal-round games in the Patriot League Tournament, and tickets for both games go on sale Wednesday (Feb. 27) at 10 a.m. through Bucknell's Campus Box Office. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Weis Center Campus Box Office, or online here: MEN'S TICKETS | WOMEN'S TICKETS. Postseason tickets will also be available for purchase at the remaining men's and women's regular-season home games. For additional ticket information, call 570-577-1000.Â
With two games remaining in the regular season, the Bison men (18-10 overall, 12-4 PL) are in first place in the Patriot League, with Colgate and Lehigh lurking one game behind. Bucknell will play at Navy on Wednesday and can clinch at least a share of the regular-season title with a victory. With a win and a Colgate loss to Holy Cross, the Bison would lock up the No. 1 seed. Bucknell will open tournament play on March 7 at 7 p.m. against an opponent to be determined.Â
Bucknell's women's team is 22-5 overall and 13-2 in league play. The Bison just had their 12-game winning streak snapped on a buzzer-beater at Holy Cross on Saturday. That dropped them into second place, one game behind 14-1 American. However, the Eagles' lone loss came at Sojka Pavilion, and the two teams will meet again on Saturday in Washington, D.C. But first, Bucknell will host Navy on Wednesday at 6 p.m.Â
The Bison women will host a Patriot League Tournament quarterfinal game on March 11 at 6 p.m., also against an opponent to be determined.
