Bucknell Basketball Luncheons Set to Begin Thursday at Matty's

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The first Bucknell Basketball Luncheon of the 2019-20 campaign will be held this Thursday at Matty's Sporthouse Grill, located along Route 15 in Lewisburg.

The luncheon, which costs $11 per person, begins at noon and is open to the public. This year, the luncheons will feature both the men's and women's basketball programs; head coaches Nathan Davis and Trevor Woodruff, along with select players, will address attendees. In addition, several door prizes, ranging from game tickets to apparel, will be raffled off at each luncheon.

The other luncheons will take place on Thursday, Jan. 9, Thursday, Feb. 6 and Thursday, Feb. 27.

Matty's Sporthouse Grill became the home of Bucknell Gridiron Club weekly football luncheons, as well as the home for the Bucknell Backcourt Club men's basketball luncheons, in 2017 as part of an expanded partnership with the restaurant, Bucknell Athletics and Learfield's Bison Sports Properties.
