About the Bison
- The top three teams in the MAWPC East all converge in Lewisburg this weekend, with Bucknell (8-1) holding onto a one-game lead over George Washington (7-2). Navy (6-3) also remains within striking distance.
- Bucknell has earned the top seed in three of the four seasons that the MAWPC Tournament has existed, including its 2016 campaign in which it won the tournament in Lewisburg.
- Bucknell is 5-1 at home this season and 29-1 at home since 2016.
- Bucknell needs three wins to secure its third 20-win season under Head Coach John McBride. Bucknell has accumulated ten 20-win seasons in program history.
- McBride (162-88, .648), owns the second-highest winning percentage in Bucknell history behind Bucknell Hall-of-Famer Dick Russell after coaching in his 250th game against the Blue Jays on Sunday.
- Rade Joksimovic, after his nine-goal outburst against Johns Hopkins, needs just four goals to reach 500 for his career.
- Joksimovic has now scored nine goals in a game three times, ten goals in a game twice, 12 goals in a game once, and also owns the school record with his 14-goal effort against Connecticut College on Nov. 18, 2016.
- Joksimovic would become the second player in Bucknell history to score 500 goals behind all-time leader Scott Schulte (586). Joksimovic also moved into the top five in assists over the weekend, passing Sean Tierney (175) with his 178 career helpers.
- Logan Schofield is now up to 263 career ejections drawn, second all-time and 49 away from catching career leader Jack Else (312).
- This year's senior class has combined for 81 wins to date, one shy of the mark set by the class of 2018. A potential 83 combined wins would make up the best four-year stretch for Bucknell since 1979-82 in which Bucknell combined for 86 wins. The 1977-1980 teams at Bucknell compiled 114 wins over a four-year stretch.
- Cooper Dolan compiled his 200th career point over the weekend, and needs nine assists to become Bucknell's second active player along with Joksimovic to notch 100 goals and 100 assists for the Bison.
- Jacuzzi has posted a strong senior season, starting every game for the Bison this season en route to posting 16 goals and six assists. The 16 goals are a career-best in a single season for the Orinda, California native.
- Bucknell has had seven players contribute 15 or more goals this season.
- Joksimovic, along with Andu Vlasceanu, both earned weekly honors from the CWPA after Bucknell's 2-0 weekend. Joksimovic earned the MAWPC Player of the Week for the second time this season, while Vlasceanu was named Rookie of the Week, also for the second time.
- Vlasceanu posted five goals and three assists over the weekend, and also drew four ejections against Johns Hopkins in a 15-7 Bucknell win.
- Vlasceanu is second on the team in points with 85, and has managed to contribute in a variety of areas. Vlasceanu is the only player on the Bison to have compiled at least 30 steals, 25 ejections drawn, 50 goals, and 30 assists. The native of Bucharest, Romania is also one of only four players on the Bison to have started every game this season.
- Bucknell took a narrow 11-10 decision over the Mids on Oct. 12, with Joksimovic, Dolan, and sophomore Jack Lewis each posting three goals. The Bison earned their second one-goal win of the season in the victory.
- Bucknell is 30-81 all-time against Navy, but has won the past seven matchups. Six of those seven matchups have been decided by four goals or less.
- Navy is 14-9 this season, but has won two of its past three against George Washington and Fordham to work back into MAWPC contention.
About George Washington/Series History

- Bucknell jumped out to a 9-3 lead in that game at the half, with Jared Stanley, Joksimovic, and Schofield each scoring three times.
- The five-goal margin was the highest by the Bison over the Colonials since an 11-5 win in 2016, Four out of the past five matchups in the series have been decided by three goals or less.
