LEWISBURG, Pa. - Five Bison have been named All-Patriot League players, and Olivia Harris was selected as the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year for the 2019 season. Allie Christopher, Leah Fogelsanger, and Harris each made the First Team, while Brittany Willwerth and Kaelyn Long were chosen to the Second Team.
Harris becomes the second player in Bucknell history to win the Goalkeeper of the Year award, joining Liz Jordan, who won the award in 2005. Harris started every game for the Bison this season and finished in the leagues top-3 for saves, shutouts, goals against average, and save percentage. Her .764 save percentage also ranks 13th in the nation.
Harris finished the regular season with three shutouts, including one in a 1-0 victory over Boston University. The Chappaqua, N.Y. native posted 5.53 saves per game in 2019, including a career-high 14 in a win over Yale and another double-digit save performance against Cornell. With nine more wins this season, Harris now ranks 10th all-time in program history with 19 in career. She also ranks third in winning percentage.
Fogelsanger finished the regular season tied as the team leader in goals with seven, which was also tied for seventh in the league. Fogelsanger was eighth in the league with her 16 points, as she provided a pair of assists as well. The junior twice posted two-goal performances, both of which came against Patriot League opponents. Six of Fogelsanger's goals came during the final seven games, a crucial stretch of the schedule that helped the Bison qualify for the Patriot League tournament, and two of her goals would up game-winners.

Christopher finished the regular season with 13 points on five goals and three assists, starting every contest this season. The highlight of Christopher's season was scoring a hat trick that sparked an offensive explosion in a win over Lehigh. The senior also scored a pivotal goal in a narrow win over Sacred Heart. Christopher directed 76.2 percent of her 21 shots on target, which was among the best on the team.
Willwerth becomes the 17th player in the history of the Patriot League to receive All-Patriot League honors four times, and joins Almira Baldwin, Amanda Faust, and Rachel Misko as one of only four Bison to do so. Willwerth has posted 15 points this season with five goals and five assists. The New Holland, Pa. native scored both goals in a 2-1 win over VCU and added goals against Syracuse, Yale, and Lafayette. Willwerth ranks eighth in program history with 69 career points, and sixth in assists with 21.
Long has 12 points this season with four goals and four assists. Long's biggest game of the season was a two-goal, two-assist outing in a win over Colgate. The junior recorded 26 shots this season, which is third-most on the Bison's roster. Long also scored goals against Lehigh and Towson, and now has seven for her career.
Bucknell travels to Washington, D.C. for the Patriot League tournament this weekend. The Bison will face Lafayette in the semifinal game on Friday, Nov. 8 at 2:30 p.m.
