Setting the Scene
What: Bucknell (3-0, 2-0 PL) at Navy (5-2, 0-0 PL) with American (0-3, 0-1 PL) and Lafayette (0-1, 0-1 PL)
When: Saturday, October 26 – 1 p.m.
Where: Lejeune Hall – Annapolis, Md.

Bucknell at a Glance
• Bucknell is currently 3-0 (2-0 Patriot League) after dropping Binghamton, 172.5-127.5 in its home opener on Oct. 26.
• The Bison won 10 events en route to their victory over the Bearcats. Seven Bison and two relay teams combined to earn those wins, with Liam Pitt (50 freestyle, 100 butterfly) accounting for two of them.
• In 2018-19, the Bison went 3-5 (3-4 Patriot League). They went on to place third (397 points) at the 10-team Patriot League Championships and fourth (313 points) at the 24-team ECAC Championships.
• Chadd Cummings (2nd), Charlie McFarland (2nd) and Matt McGoey (2nd) were Bucknell's 2019 All-Patriot League honorees. McGoey made the All-Patriot League Second Team for the second year in a row.
• Of Bucknell's 2019 All-Patriot League selections, Cummings and McFarland were lost to graduation.
• McGoey is the lone returning individual school record holder; he owns the Bison standard in the 200 IM (1:47.84).
• Returnees Jacob Lubinski (400 medley), McGoey (200 freestyle), Pitt (200 medley, 200 freestyle) and Jack Rose (200 medley) were members of school record setting relay teams.
• The Bison are very young in 2019-20, featuring a roster with 27 underclassmen. They have only two seniors: McGoey and Michael Park.
• The program welcomed nine newcomers in 2019-20. They hail from five different states: California (4), New York (2), Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

American at a Glance/Series History
• American is currently 0-3 (0-1 Patriot League) after being downed by Howard, 139-79, on Nov. 2.
• American took seventh at the 2019 Patriot League Championships with 154 points.
• Bucknell holds an 12-2 lead in the all-time series against American and has won the past 12 meetings dating back to 2008.
• Last year, the Bison dispatched the Eagles, 224-75, during their quad meet against them, Lafayette and Navy on Nov. 3 at Kinney Natatorium.

Lafayette at a Glance/Series History
• Lafayette is currently 0-1 (0-1 Patriot League) after falling to Loyola, 165.5-114.5, on Oct. 19.
• Lafayette took eighth at the 2019 Patriot League Championships with 126 points.
• Bucknell holds a 55-4 lead in the all-time series against Lafayette and has won the past 24 meetings dating back to 1995.
• Last year, the Bison dropped the Leopards, 221-67, during their quad meet against them, American and Navy on Nov. 3 at Kinney Natatorium.

Navy at a Glance/Series History
• Navy is currently 5-2 (0-0 Patriot League). The Mids' two losses came to Power-Five programs Michigan and Auburn.
• Navy won its 16th-straight Patriot League title in 2019, totaling 1,037.5 points. The Midshipmen went on to take first at the 24-team ECAC Championships.
• Navy leads the all-time series against Bucknell, 16-1. The Bison's lone victory came in 2014.
• Last year, the Midshipmen downed the Bison, 210-84, during their quad meet against them, American and Lafayette on Nov. 3 at Kinney Natatorium.
