Men's Swim & Dive Drops Binghamton, 172.5-127.5

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men's swimming & diving team dropped Binghamton, 172.5-127.5, on Saturday at Kinney Natatorium in its home opener.
The Bison (3-0, 2-0 PL) won 10 events en route to their victory over the Bearcats (1-1, 0-0, AE). Seven Bison and two relay teams combined to earn those wins, with Liam Pitt (50 freestyle, 100 butterfly) accounting for two of them.
Pitt was also a member of the first-place 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams. Two other members of first-place relay teams also won individual events:Â Ryaan Hatoum (200 breaststroke) and Kuyl (100 freestyle).
The Bison went 1-2-3 in the 200 freestyle, with Mitch Gavars, Matt Mills and Sean Quinn touching the wall in order.
Bucknell next travels to Annapolis, Md., the site of this season's Patriot League Championships, for a meet against American, Lafayette and Navy on Saturday, Nov. 9.
