• Ally Johnson made all four of her field goal attempts – including all three 3-pointers – to register 11 points off the bench to lead Bucknell to a 75-71 victory over Holy Cross in a back-and-forth game Saturday at Sojka Pavilion. Johnson's 3-pointer with 2:14 left gave the Bison the lead (70-69) for good as Bucknell came out on top in a game that featured 11 lead changes.
• Johnson was one of four Bison players in double figures as Kaitlyn Slagus tallied 16 points, Ellie Mack had 15 and Kate Walker finished with 10. Mack and Walker tied for the team lead with seven rebounds apiece, while Walker chipped in five assists.Â
• Bucknell was hot from 3-point range in the second half as it led by as many as seven points in the third quarter. After shooting just 2-of-15 from 3-point range in the first half, the Bison were 6-of-10 in the second half.
• Johnson, who didn't attempt a shot during her seven minutes on the floor in the first half, took over late in the third quarter. She scored eight-straight Bucknell points with two 3-pointers and a layup in the final 2:35 to give the Bison a 57-53 lead heading into the fourth.
• The Bison finished with 14 assists to just seven turnovers.
