Senior Max McDonald had a pair of wins on the day, posting a 1-1 record in singles and 1-0 mark in doubles. His singles win came in straight sets as he beat NJIT's Aleksa Petrovic, 6-1, 6-2, on court five. He teamed with fellow senior Andrei Vitiuc for a 6-3 victory over Hofstra's Marcus Smith and Jan Leithner on court one. The Hofstra seniors were 13-8 at No. 1 singles last season.
Freshman Ethan Jacobs won his lone singles match while improving to 2-1 during the spring season. All three matches came on court one, with the latest coming in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4, over Smith, who was 11-7 at No. 1 singles last season.
