• Bucknell's 2018-19 seniors are Megan Barpoulis, Steph Boyd, Julie Byrne, Abigail Rosenberg, Lindsay Smalec and Mary Weinstein.
• The seniors have scored a combined 285.5 points at the Patriot League Championships. Together, they have posted a combined 13 program top-10 times in individual events, with Rosenberg owning school records in the 100 freestyle (50.42) and 200 freestyle (1:48.29).
• Rosenberg (1st in 2017), Byrne (2nd in 2017) and Smalec (2nd in 2018) have previously captured All-Patriot League accolades. In addition, Byrne was named a CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American in 2018 and 2017.
Bucknell at a Glance
• Bucknell is currently 7-1 (5-1 Patriot League) after dispatching Loyola, 180-115, and Army West Point, 174-126, on Jan. 11-12 at Kinney Natatorium.
• With a Senior Day victory over Lehigh, the Bison will reach the eight-win threshold for the first time since the 2013-14 campaign, when they went 8-2 (6-0 Patriot League).
• Bucknell's dual meet against Wagner at Columbia's Percy Uris Natatorium, which was scheduled for Jan. 20, was canceled due to the snowstorm that hit the Northeast. It would have been the Bison's first, and only, dual meet away from Kinney Natatorium this season. To date, Bucknell has already hosted seven dual meets.
• The Bison matched their highest total of dual wins in the past five seasons with their victory over the Black Knights, the 2018 Patriot League runners-up. They last reached the seven-victory plateau in 2014-15, when they finished the year 7-4 (4-3 Patriot League). Their five Patriot League victories represent their highest total since 2013-14, when they went an unblemished 6-0 in league action.
• Julie Byrne was Bucknell's top performer, winning a combined five events. Byrne, who won the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke against Loyola on Jan. 11, touched the wall first in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke and 200 IM against Army West Point the next day. On the strength of her performance, she was later named the Bison Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career.
• In addition, Maddie Hartigan won three events (100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle) against the Black Knights while Abigail Rosenberg won two (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle) against the Greyhounds.
• In 2017-18, the Bison went 6-3 (4-2 Patriot League) in dual meets. Bucknell went on to place fourth (423 points) at the 10-team Patriot League Championships and third (309 points) at the 24-team ECAC Championships.
• Maggie Wyngowski (1st), Julianna Foss (1st), Emma Hadley (2nd) and Lindsay Smalec (2nd) were Bucknell's 2018 All-Patriot League honorees. In addition, Wyngowski became the second Bison to be named the Rookie of the Patriot League Championships.
• Of Bucknell's 2018 All-Patriot League selections, only Foss was lost to graduation. The Bison also returned 2017 All-Patriot League picks Rosenberg (1st), Hadley (1st) and Byrne (2nd).
• Two school-record holders are on the 2018-19 roster: Rosenberg (100 freestyle, 50.42; 200 freestyle, 1:48.29) and Wyngowski (200 breaststroke, 2:14.98; 400 IM, 4:17.80).
• Returnees Byrne (200 medley), Emily Gorham (200 freestyle, 800 freestyle), Hadley (400 medley), Smalec (400 medley, 400 freestyle, 800 freestyle) and Rosenberg (400 medley, 400 freestyle, 800 freestyle) were members of school record setting relay teams.
• The program welcomed 11 newcomers in 2018-19. They hail from nine different states: Pennsylvania (3), Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Virginia.

• Last year on Jan. 20 in Bethlehem, Pa., the Bison scored a 171-129 victory over the Mountain Hawks. Seven Bison combined to win nine individual events to help their team hand the Lehigh its first conference loss of the season.
