McMenamin Named Patriot League Runner of the Week

The Sophomore Finished Seventh at the Bison Open

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell's Connor McMenamin has been named the first Patriot League Cross Country Male Runner of the Week of the 2018 season, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

McMenamin opened his sophomore season with a seventh-place finish out of 130 runners at the Bison Open on Friday. He was the top runner from the five Patriot League teams at the meet, finishing the 6k race in 19:06. Only runners from Cornell and Penn were faster.

Bucknell is back in action Saturday when it travels to Northville, Michigan, to compete at the Detroit Mercy Invite. The Bison last competed at the meet in 2016 and won the team title.
