When: Sept. 28-30
Where: Merion Station, Pa.
Teams: Bucknell, Drexel, La Salle, Morgan State, Saint Joseph's, Towson, Villanova
About the Bison
• Competing for Bucknell in singles at the SJU Invitational will be Cayla Koch (Flight 1), Daniela Bellini (Flight 1), Paige Leavy (Flight 2), Rachel Carroll (Flight 3), Sofia Ayuso (Flight 3), Jill Auteri (Flight 4), Danielle Gannon (Flight 4), and Schuyler La Barge (Flight 4).
• The Bison will send four doubles teams, including Koch/Leavy (Flight 1), Ayuso/Bellini (Flight 1), Mishi Papich/Auteri (Flight 2), and Gannon/La Barge (Flight 2).
• Koch and Leavy are a perfect 8-0 during the fall season. They won doubles titles at the Bucknell Fall Invite and the Bison Invite.
• Bucknell is 25-21 in singles this fall, led by Bellini at 3-0. Other players with winning records are Ayuso (6-2), Koch (5-2), and Leavy (4-2).
•The Bison are 14-9 in doubles, fueled by Koch and Leavy's unbeaten record. Auteri and Bellini are 3-3.
Scouting the Opponents
• Drexel played at Penn's Cissie Leary Invitational last week. Anisiya Simpson and Cristina Corte Gonzalez were the runner-ups in Flight B doubles.
• La Salle competed at the Swarthmore Invitational. Brittany Poje and Tiffany Theophil went unbeaten in doubles while Theophil was also 3-0 in singles.
• Morgan State has not competed yet this fall. The Bears qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season.
• Saint Joseph's will play for the first time this fall.
• Towson opened the fall season two weeks ago at Maryland's Bedford Cup.
• Villanova was at Bucknell for the Bison Invite last weekend. Claudia Althans (Flight 1) and Olivia Kapp (Flight 2) won singles titles.

• The Bison will play at the Morgan State Invitational in Baltimore on Oct. 5-7.
