Krantz Stays Unbeaten During Fall Season with Two Wins at SJU Invitational

MERION STATION, Pa. – Bucknell sophomore Drew Krantz stayed unbeaten during the fall season with a pair of wins Saturday at the Saint Joseph's Invitational. He advanced to the semifinal round of Flight 1 singles, which will wrap up on Sunday.
Krantz is 5-0, including three wins while finishing first in Flight 3 at the Bucknell Fall Invite two weeks ago. Both of his wins Saturday came in straight sets, starting with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Nathan Fioravante. He followed that by beating Delaware's Luis Marcano 7-5, 6-2.
Vikram Vasan awaits Krantz in the semifinal round. Vasan is 3-0 at the tournament.
Freshman Ethan Jacobs lost his first-round match in Flight 1 singles, but bounced back with a 6-4, 6-3 win in his first match of the consolation bracket.
