Quick Receives Two Weekly Awards After Four-Point Performance Against Lock Haven

The Senior Was Named the PL Defensive Player of the Week and the Bison Athlete of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell's Lexi Quick has been named the Patriot League Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week after leading the Bison to a 3-2 win over Lock Haven on Friday. Additionally, she was selected as the Bison Athlete of the Week for her performance.

Quick factored in on all three goals against Lock Haven, including an assist on Nicole Rupnik's game-winning score with 1:12 left in regulation. Prior to that, she helped put the Bison up 1-0 with an assist on Kaelyn Long's goal in the first half, and put her team up 2-1 with a goal of her own in the second half.

Quick has a goal in three straight games, helping Bucknell record home wins in all three. The Bison have won seven straight home games dating back to last season.

Bucknell (3-2) has a big week ahead, starting with the first conference game of the season at Colgate on Saturday at 11 a.m. The Bison follow that with a game at No. 10 Syracuse on Sunday at 1 p.m.
