Women's Soccer Clinic Set for Aug. 11

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The two-time defending Patriot League champion Bucknell women's soccer team will host a clinic for girls entering grades 9-12 on Saturday, Aug. 11 at the West Fields, adjacent to Holmes Stadium. The clinic runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and all participants will receive Bucknell apparel and lunch.Â
Under the direction of head coach Kelly Cook and assistant coaches David Madsen and Riley Piechnick, clinic participants will go through technical sessions, small-sided games and an 11v11 game. The day also includes a campus tour and will conclude with a Q&A session with the coaching staff.Â
The cost of the clinic is $150, and participants should bring a ball, cleats (bring indoor shoes as well in case of rain), shin guards and water bottle.Â

The following day, Sunday, Aug. 12, the Bucknell women's soccer team will host a preseason scrimmage against Delaware at Emmitt Field at 1 p.m. The season-opener is slated for Aug. 17 at home against Hofstra at 1 p.m.Â
