CWPA Championship Returns to Bucknell
This weekend, the CWPA Championship returns to Bucknell for the first time since 2014. The Bison are set to host the CWPA's premier event for the second time; previously, they hosted five ECAC Championship (1999, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2011), four Southern Championships (2003, 2005, 2008, 2012) and the 2004 Eastern Championships.
Ticket Information
Fans attending the CWPA Championship can pay for either a three-day tournament pass ($25) or a one-day pass ($10) for the league's penultimate varsity championship. Bucknell students, faculty and staff with a valid college ID, and senior citizens 65 and older, will be admitted at discounted prices of $10 (tournament pass) and $5 (one-day pass). All children 12 and under are free of charge.
All tickets are exclusively available at the door as there will be no presale in advance of the championship.
Streaming Information
For fans unable to make the trip to Kinney Natatorium for the championship, the CWPA is offering live-streaming of the weekend on a pay-per-view basis through Stretch Internet. Fans can access the stream by CLICKING HERE. The cost of viewership is $10 per game or $25 for the weekend tournament package that includes all the contested games. In addition, fans can access the stream until July following the conclusion of the tournament. In addition to the championship coverage via the Internet, the Collegiate Water Polo Association offers DVD copies of every game at the championship on site for fan purchase. Fans attending the championship can find out more information about the DVD packages offered by the league at the concessions table during the tournament.

Fifth-Seeded Bucknell at a Glance
• The Bison enter the CWPA Championship with a 13-17 (3-5 CWPA) record. They went 2-2 on the final weekend of the regular season to lock up the fifth seed in the CWPA Championship. During that weekend, they knocked off then No. 19 Harvard, 9-8, to earn their first victory over a ranked opponent since the 2016 campaign.
• Bucknell received votes in the most recent CWPA poll.
• A year ago, the Bison went 14-18 (2-6 CWPA) and placed sixth at the CWPA Championship.
• In the CWPA preseason poll, Bucknell was selected to finish sixth. Michigan, Indiana and Hartwick were tabbed as the top three teams.
• Emily Konishi currently leads the Bison with 84 points behind team-best totals of goals (38) and assists (46). Her number of assists is tied for 10th in school history while her point total is eight outside of the top 15.
• Colleen Barron (35g-24a) is the only other Bison who has reached the 50-point plateau. Three of her teammates—Ally Furano (38g-11a), Marta Considine (29g-13a) and Kali Hyham (33g-7a)—surpassed the 40-point threshold during the regular season. Furano recorded 15 of her points (11g-4a) in Bucknell's final weekend of regular-season play; for her efforts, she was recognized as the CWPA Player and Co-Rookie of the Week.
• Shyla Lintz has drawn a team-best 58 ejections, which places her six away from entering Bucknell's top 10. Considine leads the Bison with 38 steals.
• In net, Manuela Herrera has started 29 games, making 208 saves. With 590 career saves, she stands fifth in school history; the four Bison ahead of her in the record book all made at least 700 saves.
• Konishi owns 251 career points on 115 goals and 136 assists. Her assist total is tied for third in school history, six outside of second. Her point total stands 11th in the Bucknell annals, six outside of 10th.
• With 129 career goals, Barron needs five to crack the Bison top 15.
Fourth-Seeded Indiana at a Glance
• Indiana is currently 24-7 (5-3 CWPA) on the season and ranked No. 14 in the CWPA poll. In April, the Hoosiers went 4-1, with their lone loss coming to then No. 15 Princeton, the CWPA's top seed.
• Indiana was chosen to finish second in the CWPA preseason poll but fell to Princeton, Michigan and Hartwick in the regular season to ultimately place fourth.
• Indiana leads the all-time series with Bucknell, 13-2, and has won the past 10 games. The series began in 2000.
• Earlier this season, the Hoosiers downed the Bison on March 24 (11-8) and April 8 (11-5). They were ranked No. 13 in the CWPA poll at the time of both meetings.
