Bucknell at a Glance
• The Bison are currently 8-11 (0-0 CWPA) and received votes in the CWPA poll. They most recently fell at then No. 15 Long Beach State, 8-5, on March 15.
• A year ago, Bucknell went 14-18 (2-6 CWPA) and placed sixth at the CWPA Championship.
• In the CWPA preseason poll, the Bison were selected to finish sixth. Michigan, Indiana and Hatwick were tabbed as the top three teams.
• Emily Konishi currently leads Bucknell with 54 points (24g-30a). Colleen Barron (20-14a) and Kali Hyham (26g-3a) round out the top three. Hyham is the leading goal scorer while Konishi has paced Bucknell in assists.
• Shyla Lintz has drawn a team-best 33 ejections while Konishi leads Bucknell with 21 steals.
• In net, Manuela Herrera has started 18 games, making 115 saves. With 497 career saves, she stands fifth in school history.
• Konishi owns 221 career points on 101 goals and 120 assists. Her assist total is good for eighth in school history, four outside of seventh. She needs 36 more points to crack Bucknell's top 10.
• Marta Considine enters this weekend's games needing four goals to reach the 100-goal plateau. Two of her teammates have already surpassed this career milestone: Barron (114) and Konishi (101). Barron's total is 20 outside of Bucknell's top 15.
No. 13 Indiana at a Glance
• Indiana is currently 17-5 (0-1 CWPA) on the season and ranked No. 13 in the CWPA poll.
• The Hoosiers were picked to finish second in the CWPA preseason poll. They fell to then No. 13 Hatwick, 13-11, in their first CWPA game on March 3. Since then, they are 5-1, with their lone loss coming to then No. 6 Arizona State.
• Indiana leads the all-time series with Bucknell, 11-2, and has won the past eight games. The series began in 2000.
• Last season, the Hoosiers topped the Bison in the regular season by a 12-7 margin before downing them in the CWPA fifth-place game, 14-9.
George Washington at a Glance
• George Washington is currently 9-6 (0-0 CWPA) on the season.
• The Colonials have won four of their past six games, including a 14-12 overtime thrilled at VMI in their most recent game.
• Bucknell holds a 39-21 lead over George Washington in the all-time series, which dates back to 1999.
• This will be the 61st meeting between the teams. The Bison have faced the Colonials more than any other opponent.
• A year ago, Bucknell fell to George Washington at the Mercyhurst Invitational (7-9) but won their CWPA game at Kinney Natatorium (14-6).
Saint Francis at a Glance
• Saint Francis is currently 12-5 (0-0 CWPA) on the season, its second in program history.
• The Red Flash strung together an eight-game winning streak from Feb. 17 to March 3.
• Bucknell leads the all-time series with Saint Francis, 2-0. The teams met for the first time in 2017, the Red Flash's inaugural season.
• The Bison and Red Flash met earlier this year at the Bison Invitational. Bucknell outscored Saint Francis, 7-3, in the middle two quarters to walk away a 13-8 victor.
A Look Ahead
• The Bison host Mercyhurst on Saturday, March 31 at 3 p.m. for their final home game of the regular season. Before the contest, they will recognize seniors Colleen Barron, Marta Considine, Manuela Herrera and Shyla Lintz.
