Bucknell at a Glance
• Bucknell is currently 5-1 (3-1 Patriot League) on the season after going 2-1 at its quad meet against American (231-84), Lafayette (251-45) and Navy (101.5-214.5) on Nov. 3. At that meet, the Bison were bolstered by 18 top-three finishes, with Emma Hadley (100 backstroke), Maddie Hartigan (1,000 freestyle), Abigail Rosenberg (100 freestyle) and Lindsay Smalec (100 butterfly) racing to individual titles.
• Maggie Wyngowski has started strong as a sophomore, winning two events in each of Bucknell's first three meets. To date, she boasts two first-place finishes in the 400 IM and one victory in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 100 IM and 200 IM. During the Patriot League quad meet on Nov. 3, she claimed runner-up finishes in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 200 IM.
• In 2017-18, the Bison went 6-3 (4-2 Patriot League) in dual meets. They posted their most overall and conference wins since 2014-15, when they went 7-4 (4-3 Patriot League).
• Bucknell went on to place fourth (423 points) at the 10-team Patriot League Championships and third (309 points) at the 24-team ECAC Championships.
• Wyngowski (1st), Julianna Foss (1st), Hadley (2nd) and Smalec (2nd) were Bucknell's 2018 All-Patriot League honorees. In addition, Wyngowski became the second Bison to be named the Rookie of the Patriot League Championships.
• Of Bucknell's 2018 All-Patriot League selections, only Foss was lost to graduation. The Bison also returned 2017 All-Patriot League picks Rosenberg (1st), Hadley (1st) and Julie Byrne (2nd).
• Two school-record holders are on the 2018-19 roster: Rosenberg (100 freestyle, 50.42; 200 freestyle, 1:48.29) and Wyngowski (200 breaststroke, 2:14.98; 400 IM, 4:17.80).
• Returnees Byrne (200 medley), Emily Gorham (200 freestyle, 800 freestyle), Hadley (400 medley), Smalec (400 medley, 400 freestyle, 800 freestyle) and Rosenberg (400 medley, 400 freestyle, 800 freestyle) were members of school record setting relay teams.
• The program welcomed 11 newcomers in 2018-19. They hail from nine different states: Pennsylvania (3), Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Virginia.

A Look Back at the 2017 Bucknell Invitational
• The Bison welcomed Binghamton, Fordham, Georgetown, La Salle, Old Dominion, Towson and Howard (diving only) to Kinney Natatorium for the 2017 edition of the Bucknell Invitational, which has been held every season since the 2011-12 campaign.Â
• Bucknell took second with 1,322 points while Towson won the team title with 1,545.5.Â
• The Bison had three individual title winners: Emma Hadley (200 backstroke), Abigail Rosenberg (100 freestyle) and Maggie Wyngowski (200 IM). In addition, the 400 medley relay team of Hadley, Leah Bloodgood, Lindsay Smalec and Emily Gorham touched the wall first.
• In total, Bucknell reached the 'A' finals in 28 individual events. Including relays, the Bison posted 14 top-three finishes.
A Look Ahead
• A handful of Bison swimmers will compete at the USA Swimming Winter Nationals in Greensboro, N.C. from Thursday, Nov. 29 to Saturday, Dec. 1.
• The full team will return to action on Thursday, Dec. 20 at the FAU Invite in Boca Raton, Fla.
