LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's soccer team's penultimate regular season match at Boston University originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27 has been moved to Sunday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. due to impending weather in the Boston area. Â
The Bison will head into Sunday's match seeking three points for the first time in Patriot League play since Oct. 7. A win on Sunday would do a lot to improve the Bison's chances of making the Patriot League Tournament, as Bucknell sits in the fifth spot level on points with the Terriers.
Boston U beat Army in its last fixture to leapfrog the Black Knights for a top six slot. Â
Two teams hunting for a berth in the tournament include Army West points at nine points in the seventh slot, and Navy, after back-to-back wins in conference, in eighth in the standings on six points. Â
The Terriers snapped a three-game losing streak with its most recent win against Army on Wednesday evening. Â
Bucknell clinched a postseason berth last season against Boston U in a scoreless draw. The two teams have drawn four straight contests.Â
Bucknell is 2-0-5 all-time in the series between the two teams.   All seven matchups have gone to overtime.   Â
Loyola leads the Patriot League currently on 16 points after a 4-1 win vs. American on Wednesday. Lehigh (14), Colgate (12), American (11), Bucknell (10), and Boston U (10) round out the top six. Â
