Harris, Quick Earn Patriot League Weekly Awards

Harris Named Goalkeeper of the Week; Quick Picked as Defensive Player of the Week
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell won two weekly awards from the Patriot League after turning in a solid defensive performance in a 3-2 win over VCU on Sunday at Graham Field. Olivia Harris was selected as the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week, while Lexi Quick was named the Defensive Player of the Week.
Harris made a career-high nine saves against VCU, which entered as the fifth-best scoring team in the nation at 3.93 goals per game. She stopped seven shots in the first half, helping the Bison take a 3-1 lead into the break. The junior leads the league with a 1.66 goals against average.
Quick scored Bucknell's first goal and assisted on another. She also helped with the solid defensive effort, including holding the nation's leading scorer, Emily McNamara, to just one goal. Quick has been named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week three times this season.
Bucknell, which has won eight straight home games dating back to last season, is back at Graham Field for a big league game against American on Saturday at 11 a.m.
