Women's Swimming & Diving Wins 10 Events in 2017-18 Opener

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Six Bison combined to win 10 individual events during the Bucknell women's swimming & diving team's season-opening meet against UMBC Saturday at Kinney Natatorium.
Maggie Wyngowski's victory in the 400 IM was a highlight for the Bison. In her first collegiate meet, she clocked a time of 4:25.03, the seventh-fastest in school history.
Wyngowski also won the 200 IM, touching the wall in 2:06.45.
Emma Hadley swam to victory in the 100 backstroke (57.81) and 200 backstroke (2:03.90). Tally Ford won both the 1-meter (199.28) and 3-meter dive titles (219.98) while Mary Weinstein took the 100 (1:07.97) and 200 breaststroke crowns (2:25.06).
Megan Koczur (50 freestyle, 24.87) and Abigail Rosenberg (100 freestyle, 53.69) rounded out Bucknell's first-place finishers.
The Bison also posted 11 runner-up finishes in individual events and two in relays. They are listed below:

No team scores were kept at the event. The Bison return to action on Oct. 13 and Oct. 14 when they travel to Bryant and Boston University.
