Bison Women Wrap Up Action at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Rebecca Skovira and Kasey Getkin represented the Bucknell women's track and field team in the college javelin on Friday evening at the Penn Relays at Franklin Field.
Skovira, who owns the second-best mark in the Patriot League this season, cracked the top-10 with a toss of 135-1. Getkin, who owns the fourth-best throw in the league, finished in the top half of the field with a heave of 128-6.
In a final tune-up before the Patriot League Outdoor Championships, the Bison will send a group to Bloomsburg on Saturday to compete at the Maroon and Gold Invitational.
