About the Bison
* Saturday marks the first of eight regular season home events for Bucknell this season. Kinney Natatorium will also be the host for this season's Patriot League Championships in February.
* Bucknell returns three of its four All-Patriot League selections from last season. Senior Louis Behnen and junior Chris Devlin were named to the First Team, while senior Jack Robinson earned Second Team honors.
* Devlin was voted the Patriot League Swimmer of the Meet, becoming Bucknell's first male swimmer to earn the award since 1993. He won the 200 back and 400 IM with meet- and school-record times. He went on to compete at the U.S. Olympic Trials during the summer. Devlin is a three-time Patriot League champion.
* Bucknell's current roster has earned seven All-Patriot League honors and five Academic All-Patriot League awards.
* The current roster owns five individual school records and 36 individual top-10 times.

Scouting UMBC
* UMBC is the two-time defending champion in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA).
* Felix Richtsfeld was named the CCSA Freshman Swimmer of the Year.
* The Retrievers went 2-3 last season.

Series History with UMBC
* UMBC leads the all-time series 6-2, but the teams haven't competed in a scored meet since 2007.
* Saturday marks the 10^th-straight year that the teams will compete against each other in an unscored meet.
* Bucknell won five events when the teams met last season. Behnen took first in the 400 IM, 200 free and the 400 free relay.
* Behnen was joined on the winning relay by Vince Filippini, Robinson and Sam Rutan.
