About the Bison
>> Bucknell's annual fall invitational is an intimate gathering this year, with five teams participating. This will be Bucknell's second event of the season, following a ninth-place finish out of 16 teams at last week's Navy Fall Invitational.
>> Head coach Lisa Francisco will send out the same five-player lineup as last week: senior Emily Larson, sophomore Katie Childers, junior Lindsay Dodovich, freshman Anna Dailey and sophomore Eunbbie Kim.
>> The remaining four Bison will play as individuals: sophomore Graysen Bright, freshman Meredith Langs and seniors Nicole Mischler and Callie Nelson.
>> Larson and Childers both posted rounds of 80-79 last week at Navy. The duo tied for 25th place. Dailey was next with rounds of 83-80, followed by Dodovich (82-83) and Kim (83-83).
>> Bucknell's team scores last week were 325-321. The Bison started the final round in 11th place before moving up two spots with a better second round.
The Bucknell Invitational
>> The Bison have won this event three times: 2006, 2010 and 2011. Katie Jurenovich is the last Bucknell individual champion, with her title coming in a playoff in 2010. Teri Schlang (2006), Jess Hetrich (2002) and Hilary Mainka (1999) have also claimed titles.
>> Bucknell struggled in its home tourney last year, finishing 12th with a 54-hole total of 979. Larson (81-78-80) was Bucknell's low player at 239 total.
>> Fairleigh Dickinson won last year's Bucknell Invitational with a 919 total, three shots better than Princeton. Gabriele Santini of FDU won the individual title with a 221 total (74-74-71).
Up Next
>> Bucknell will be back in action next weekend at Penn State's Nittany Lion Invitational. It will be a homecoming for Francisco, who played college golf at Penn State.
