Women's Swimming and Diving Places 24 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's swimming and diving team placed 24 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, which was released by the conference office on Wednesday. The group was headlined by junior Amber McDonnell, who was one of 23 athletes in the league to earn a perfect 4.0 GPA while majoring in theatre and economics.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Seniors Leanne Archer (Markets, Innovation & Design), Rachel Brekovsky (Chemical Engineering) and Alanna Nawrocki (Accounting & Financial Management) all earned the academic honor for the fourth straight season. The group also included junior Rachel Perry (Accounting & Financial Management) and sophomore Julianna Foss (Biology), who each earned Academic All-Patriot League honors this season, and senior Emma Levendoski (Animal Behavior), who was voted to the CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-America Team.
The Bison's 24 academic honorees ranked second in the league. They finished with an impressive 3.44 GPA as a team, bolstered by 21 student-athletes on the Dean's List.
