Men's Swimming and Diving Opens PL Championships at Navy on Wednesday

LEWISBURG, Pa. – After posting another winning record against league opponents during the regular season, the Bucknell men's swimming and diving team turns its attention to the Patriot League Championships. The four-day conference meet begins on Wednesday and runs through Saturday at Navy's Lejeune Hall. Prelims each day are slated for 10:30 a.m., while each night's finals are scheduled for 6 p.m. The meet will kick off Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the men's three-meter diving prelims.
A live video broadcast of the entire meet will be available via the Patriot League Network, while live results can be found on NavySports.com.
The Bison went 3-5, including 3-2 against Patriot League opponents, this season. They posted wins over American, Lafayette and Colgate. They earned six weekly awards from the conference, including three in swimming and three in diving. Louis Behnen was a two-time Swimmer of the Week, while Chris Devlin won the award once. Tyler Wenzel won the Diver of the Week honor three times.
Bucknell has finished fourth at the conference meet in each of the past two years and has finished in the top half of the team standings in 24 of 25 seasons.

Parking
►No one without a Dept. of Defense identification card can drive their vehicle onto the USNA grounds. Everyone else must park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium ($5 per vehicle) and ride the free shuttle bus to and from the meet. The shuttle bus will run from 5-11 p.m. on Feb. 17 and 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. onFeb. 18-20. Regardless of whether or not they are on the shuttle bus, driving their car or walking through the security checkpoint, everyone over the age of 18 must show a photo ID card and those ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. ►Fans who have driver's licenses from Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico or Washington State, must produce their driver's license AND a second ID card (does not need to have a photo on it) before being admitted. A valid U.S. Passport works in place of a driver's license for everyone regardless of what state they are from.
