Women?s Soccer Earns NSCAA College Team Academic Award

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's soccer team received academic recognition from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for the 2015-16 academic year, announced on Thursday.
Bucknell posted a 3.50 GPA and were one of seven Patriot League schools represented on the list. A total of 578 teams throughout the United States received the honor.
To qualify for the NSCAA Team Academic Award, the team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the entire academic year. The team GPA is determined by adding every player's GPA, then dividing by the number of players.
Bucknell, one of three unbeaten teams remaining in the country (11-0-1), returns to action Saturday with a contest at Navy. Game time is scheduled for 8 p.m and will broadcast on the Patriot League Network.
