About the Game
Bucknell plays at home for a second consecutive week as it looks to move back above .500 in Patriot League play when it hosts 1-6 Lafayette in a Homecoming contest Saturday at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. The Bison entered their brief two-game homestand coming off a one-point win at Holy Cross, but lost by a 27-7 score last Saturday against Colgate. Bucknell was within one touchdown with possession in the fourth quarter, but the Raiders scored a pair of touchdowns in the final 5:08 to clinch the victory. Lafayette lost in overtime to the Bison in its last trip to Lewisburg in 2014 and is just 2-16 over the last two seasons. The Leopards lost 62-7 last week at Army West Point in their final non-league matchup of the year.
