About the Bison
>> Bucknell hosted Howard Tuesday in a mid-week matchup, defeating the Bison 7-0. Four different players finished with multi-point outings in the win, including Nick King (1G, 3A), Sebastiaan Blickman (2G, 1A), Justin Galiani (1G, 1A) and Austin Lenart (1G, 1A). Ari Rosenzweig scored his first collegiate goal in the victory.
>> Bucknell's seven goals tied a facility record set in 2012 in a 7-0 victory over Adelphi, while King's three assists were the most by a Bucknell player since Tommy McCabe in 2010.
>> Emmett Witmer finished with three saves in the victory. Witmer has started the last eight games in goal for the Bison, totaling 28 saves with a .718 save percentage.
>> Blickman, the reigning Patriot League Midfielder of the Week, has scored five goals in the last two games, and now leads the team with seven goals, which is tied for most in the Patriot League.
>> King has handed out a team-high six assists, which ranks first in the conference and 11th in the nation.
Scouting the Midshipmen
>> Navy enters Saturday following a 1-1 draw against Holy Cross. Sam Bascom scored his second goal in three games, while Mac Burke made four saves.
>> Eight players have scored Navy's 10 goals this year, including Bascom and Daniel Kwon, who have scored two goals each.
>> Burke has played every minute in goal for the Midshipmen, tallying 50 saves, which ranks second in the Patriot league, along with a .794 save percentage.
>> The Midshipmen are 0-3-1 in league play, suffering loses at Army West Point, at Loyola and at Lehigh.
>> Navy was picked fifth in the PL Preseason Poll.
>> The Midshipmen are 2-0-2 at Glenn Warner Soccer Facility this season.
Series History
>> Bucknell is 12-25-4 all-time against Navy, but is unbeaten in its last two meetings.
>> The Bison defeated the Midshipmen 1-0 last year in Lewisburg. The decisive score was an own goal off a corner kick in the 16th minute.
