Women's Swimming and Diving Back to Competition with Two Meets this Weekend

***Schedule note -- Saturday's meet at Army West Point will begin with the first diving event at noon. The swimming events will begin at 1 p.m.
LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's swimming and diving team returns to action with a pair of Patriot League meets this weekend after more than a month break from competition. The Bison will be on the road on consecutive days as they compete at Army West Point on Saturday at noon and at Colgate on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Bison last competed on Nov. 22 when they finished fourth out of nine teams at the Bucknell Invitational. Prior to that they competed in six meets, including five that were scored, posting a record of 2-3. They have recorded victories over Lafayette and American, both of which came at a quad meet at Navy.
Bucknell had numerous outstanding individual and relay performances at the Bucknell Invitational, swimming 15 top-10 times at the three-day event.
After this weekend, Bucknell has just three events prior to the Patriot League Championships. The Bison will be at home against Wagner on Sunday, Jan. 17, on the road against Lehigh on Saturday, Jan. 23 and at the Navy Invite on Saturday, Jan. 30.
at Army West Point
• Army West Point is 5-1 in scored meets with wins over Binghamton, UMass, Vermont, Fordham and Lehigh. The Black Knights also finished first at Boston University's Terrier Invitational.
• Bucknell is 18-4 all-time against Army West Point, including 14 straight wins.
• Emma Levendoski (100 back, 200 back), Diana Hanson (100 breast, 200 breast) and Julianna Foss (100 fly, 200 fly) won two events apiece to lead the Bison to a 180-120 win last season.
• Dani Potis added a win in the 1000 free.

• Colgate is 5-1 with wins over St. Bonaventure, Bryant, Holy Cross, Canisius and Niagara.
• Bucknell is 15-10 all-time against the Raiders, but dropped last year's meet 150-148.
• Levendoski (100 back, 200 back) and Foss (100 fly, 200 fly) won two individual events apiece last season, while Hanson won the 200 breast.
• The meet came down to the 400 free, where Colgate sealed the win with a first- and third-place finish.
