Field Hockey Places 23 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell field hockey team had 23 members named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league announced Wednesday. Headlining the list for the Bison were Abby Watson, Anna Wills and Emily Hitchings, who were Academic All-Patriot League selections this past fall.
In all, Patriot League field hockey teams combined to place 111 student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll, with each of the seven schools having a double-digit total.
Hitchings, Claire Lesher and Nicole Rupnik were three of the league's 10 student-athletes to earn a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall semester. Hitchings and Watson earned a spot on the Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time during their careers.
To be eligible for the Fall Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports.
