Fourth Annual Football Alumni Weekend a Success

LEWISBURG, Pa. – More than six dozen Bucknell University football alumni, representing 33 different classes, returned to campus last weekend for the Fourth Annual Football Alumni Weekend. The former Bison enjoyed cheered from the sideline as their alma mater posted a 17-0 victory over Marist in the season opener.
The alums enjoyed a pregame tailgate before the game, and then were recognized individually on the field at halftime. After the team's win, the alumni gathered for a postgame reception in downtown Lewisburg at the Towne Tavern Shanty. The weekend concluded on Sunday morning with a brunch in the Langone Center on campus.
It's not too early to mark the calendar now for next year's event which is slated for Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016 – Bucknell vs. Cornell.
